Hi, I'm Beth Shaw. Today, I'm going to show you some yoga postures for any abdominal bloating or gas. Keeping in mind that diet is usually the culprit when we have any kind of issues with the midsection. But if you ate something that perhaps you shouldn't have this is something that will help relieve that right away. We are going to lie down and bring the knees into the chest. This automatically gives your midsection your belly a lot more room. Also releases any pressure on the low back so lets go ahead and bring those knees in. Roll gently back and forth on the low back. And then start to take the knees on a couple of big circles or small circles. From here we are going to extend the arms out like a T. Bring the knees down to either side of the body. And again we are breathing up the side of the body trying to create some space in the midsection. Lets bring it up, take it up opposite side. Take at least 10 to 30 deep breaths here. Now bringing it in will do something called wind releasing pose. Again to release any bloating or gas that you might have. Keep the right knee into the chest. Extend the left leg down. You can gently bring your head up to meet your knee. And this massages the internal organs and also helps to release anything that needs to be released. You can do both sides but the right side is predominant for this pose. Wind releasing pose. I'm Beth Shaw with YogaFit and these are poses to release abdominal bloating and gas. Namaste.
