Hi, I'm Beth Shaw, founder of Yoga Fit. Today, we're going to do some strengthening exercises using a band or a strap. So we'll start by lying down and wrapping your band or strap around the foot. So let's go ahead and pull the leg back and then extend it out to the side. This is a good stretch and it also strengthens the adductor, that muscle that runs up the inside of the leg. Good take it around to the opposite side and repeat this a few times, extending out and using that muscle strengthening it, pulling it up. This is great toning for your inner thighs. You'll notice you'll get more flexibility and range of motion every time you do this as well. And let's gently pull the leg back, stretch through the hamstring, lower it down and then lift and lower a few times. And you can also start to bend the knee, bring it in towards the shoulder, extend it out, bring it in, strengthening in through the quadricep.
