I'm AJ Tucker. I'm going to show you actions to stretch the upper traps. The upper traps when it comes to stretching is an often neglected muscle. We stretch the entire body, the hamstrings, the quad, the glutes, the arms. But we totally neglect our traps. And we have to stretch that as well. We have to stretch it daily. And the way we do that is to simply take your hand and go to the other side of your head. I'm going to pull my head all the way to the right to stretch my upper traps. And if I want to hit a different part of my upper traps I'll tilt my head down. The second part of this stretch is to reach behind the head with both hands and slightly slowly pull the head down. And then I go to the other side. And tilt my head down to hit a different part of the upper traps. And you want to do that daily. It doesn't take but anything but 10 seconds to do. Do it daily and add it to your stretching routine.
