I'm AJ Tucker. I'm going to show you how to build muscle while working out at your house. There are times where we don't have enough time to go to the gym. In fact that's most of the times for most of us with busy lives and busy schedules. So you have to get your workout at home but how do you build muscle? I'm going to show you three simple exercises, the push-up, the pull-up and the pistol squat. The first exercise I'm going to show is a push-up. There's three variations that I can use and I have to do lots of them if I want to build muscle. So the regular push-up is my arms are a little bit wider than shoulder width apart. I have the wide arm push-up to target the chest and the close arm push-up to target the inner chest and the triceps. The second exercise is the pull-up and mainly I have a wide arm grip and I have a closed arm grip and I also have an underhand grip. The last exercise is called the pistol squat. This is where I do a squat on one leg to get that intensity. I want to start out using a box and I'm going forward on one leg, I push my hips back and come up, eventually you will get to the point to where you don't need the box. Those three exercises are great home exercises to get bigger at home.
