Hi, I'm David Pollock, and today we're going to talk about the best skin moisturizer for pregnancy and I'm going to share with you how to keep your skin moisturized and even how to make your own moisturizer. As a pregnant mom you know what you put into your body is important to your health and to your baby's health. The same applies to what you put on your skin because up to 60% of these ingredients can be absorbed. So read the label, get back to basics, use moisturizers that are rich in humectants like a glycerin or sodium hyaluronate. You can find ones with botanicals and vitamins. Those are some of my favorites. Avoid ones that contain some of the harmful chemicals. Now if you want to find how to make one for yourself, for dry skin to keep your body moisturized and even help fight stretch marks, take a little bit of cocoa butter, some beeswax, shea butter, put them together, melt it in a microwave, mix it up and then add a couple drops of your favorite essential oil, I suggest lavender it will help you sleep a little bit at night and then once it's cooled, apply it to the dry skin, rough skin, even where you are worried about stretch marks and you're going to find your skin is hydrated and you're going to have the greatest moisturizer for while you are pregnant.
