Hi, my name is Josephine D'Alton, and today I'm gonna demonstrate to you calisthenic type exercises. Now the purpose of calisthenic type exercises is simply body weight. So you won't need any kind of equipment, just your body. Now the first calisthenic type exercise that we're gonna demonstrate is the pushup. Simply you're gonna get on the floor, with your hands on the floor and your feet only, forming a straight line between your head and your feet. You're gonna lower your body to the floor, until your chest almost touches the ground, and then lift up, and repeat. Now the second exercise I'm gonna demonstrate to you is called the air squat. What you're gonna do is you're gonna stand with your feet slightly hip width apart, abdominals pulled in, you're gonna raise your arms up as you lower your body to the floor, making sure your knees do not go over your toes, and make sure the top of your legs do not go past horizontal to the floor, and stand up, squeezing the glute, abdominals drawn in.
