It's not recommended for long periods of time because it's difficult to meet your nutrition requirements when you are on one. Low fiber food purees can be a great way to get nutrition into your body with limited amounts of fiber. So good fruits two work with would be fruits that are naturally lower in fiber, bananas, peaches, apricots or apples. But you'll want to make sure that you peel them, remove any seeds and also cook them to break down the fiber. If you wanted to make a low fiber vegetable puree, you also want to work with vegetables that are a little bit lower in fiber and those would be tomatoes, spinach, potatoes or carrots and also make sure that you peel these.
