I'm Diane Hoch, and this is how to make cabbage, apple and pineapple salad. This salad boasts three powerhouse foods that have incredible anti-inflammatory and anti-cancer ingredients. Cabbage is a cruciferous vegetable with great digestive properties, apples have that heart healthy soluble fiber, and bromelain in the pineapple, along with vitamin C, really sweeten things up. So in this small bowl we're gonna add our fresh orange juice, our fresh orange zest, maple syrup, apple cider vinegar and a beautiful pink Himalayan sea salt. Then we're gonna take or Napa cabbage and put it in this bowl, along with our diced apples and julienne pineapple and dried currants. Toss it all together. We're going to pour our whisked dressing over the top, toss it again, and you have a beautiful salad. This flavorful salad is low-fat and low-calorie, as well as immune busting. I mean it has such great properties to it that you can eat it all day long for wonderful anti-inflammatory, anti-cancer, and full of vitamin C, K, fiber, all these fantastic foods that we need to stay healthy and strong.
