I love starting my day off with a green smoothie. It's nutrient dense, filled with vitamins, great carbs as well as it gives me energy for the whole entire day with my busy schedule. Some of my favorite ingredients to add to a green smoothie are super foods, fruits and vegetables. I love adding Goji berries to my smoothies because they are rich in Vitamin C and antioxidants and they give you that wonderful little punch of energy. I also love berries such as raspberries and blueberries both which are rich in antioxidants. I usually add some greens to my smoothies such as spinach and kale. Both are incredibly rich in iron which is a great nutrient to have in your body and also helps with energy levels and I also add banana to help with potassium and Vitamin B6, B6 is great for energy and also I always add a little bit or protein whether it's a rich protein or pea protein and some hemp seeds for some Omegas as well to increase energy and overall function. Adding a green smoothie in your diet will actually increase your energy levels and provide great nutrition.
