Hey guys, my name is Robert Weeks, and today I'm going to be teaching you some Judo throwing techniques. Okay guys, in Judo, there's a lot to cover. There's many forms and there's many different moves. And today, we're going to look at a couple of throwing techniques. The first throwing techniques I want to show you is going to be the single arm Judo toss. As you see here, I'm going to be in a clenched position, where both the opponent has me and I am also in control of the opponent. I'm going to look for inside control and as soon as I have inside control, I'm then going to go ahead and commit my single arm takedown. What I'm going to do here is I'm going to commit to his mid-section and hips as seen here. I'm going to expel my right foot in the middle of where his feet are located. I'm then going to pivot on like the ball of my heel back around so that I'm giving him my back. As soon as I do so, I'm going to lower my hips so that I can ascertain my hips to his mid-section. Once I lowered it low enough to be lower than his mid-section, I'm then going to pop up in extreme force and carry him into my flip, like so. Okay guys, the next Judo toss I'm going to show you is going to be the standard hip toss. What you're going to do here is once you have inside control once again, you're going to want, instead of going from underneath the shoulder, this time, you're going to go around his head and create his head underneath your armpit, kind of in a vice. Once you have this position, you're then going to commit to his hips and propel underneath his hips once again. So, it's the same exact motion except you're just going to place your arms in a different location. Okay guys, that's some Judo throwing techniques. See you next time.
