Hey, guys. My name is Robert Weeks. And today I'm going to show you how to kick the easy way. Okay guys there's many different ways to throw a kick. But if you have no idea how to throw one I'm going to show you just an easy way to throw a kick the right way. So if you do kick something you are not going to hurt yourself. Okay guys if you ever watched a martial arts movie you always see them kick with their feet. We are not going to do that. We are going to kick today with our shin. So what I'm going to do is I'm going to line up to the bag. I'm going to stand in a kickboxing stance. Kickboxing stance is going to make a giant L where the lower part of the L is going to be my back foot. And the straight line of the L is going to be my front foot. What I'm going to do is I'm then going to lead my front foot. I'm going to take a little step forward. And when I take my step forward I'm going to bend my foot a little bit, just a little bit, not much. And what that's going to do that's going to help my twist and my body when I go to throw my kick. After I get my foot out in front of me I'm then going to go ahead and commit to my kick. In order to throw my kick I need to create a twist in my body. In order to do that I'm going to use my body to help that. So I'm going to use my arms to create that twist. To create a little bit more effort into my kick. Just like this you can keep practicing it over and over, and over again. And make sure that when you kick the bag you are not hitting with your foot. There's a lot of small bones and a lot of small tendons in your foot that can hurt. Your shin is a lot powerful and can handle a lot more concussionary blows onto it. So use that to your advantage. Okay guys that's how you kick the easy way. See you next time.
