Hi, I'm Jay McLeod. Today, I'm going to show you the kneeling rear deltoid raises exercise. The benefit of doing this is basically it works your posterior deltoid, okay, the back of your shoulders which aids in compound movements like rowing exercises and pull-ups. Now in order to do kneeling rear deltoid raises, okay I want you to grab a fitness ball for stability, okay. Some people do them without, I'm going to do mine with the stability ball. Okay now, from here, I'm going to grab my dumbbells and I'm going to place my chest on the ball okay, with my knees bent. From here I'm going to raise my arms up and I'm going to turn my wrists, okay I turn my wrists, I feel like I get more of a contraction in my posterior delts. I squeeze at the top, pause a the bottom, squeeze at the top, pause at the bottom. You want to make sure to keep your head in a neutral position.
