My name is Robert Weeks, and today I'm going to teach you about the benefits of a dumbbell swing exercise. Benefits of a dumbbell swing exercise are going to mainly rely mostly on your abdominal muscles. The reason for this is is those are going to be the muscles that are going to be required to sustain your body to stay attached to your spine while you do these exercises. The human body is literally not meant to take a vast amount of weight and pull it up and down. The reason why we are able to do this is because of leverage. A dumbbell swing exercise is really good because it requires you to concentrate on these core muscles. There's a lot more muscle centered in your core of your body then out of any other point of your body. There's about 12 muscles all small and isolated in your stomach. No where else on your body are there this many muscles all together but independent. So we definitely want to make sure to have an exercise like the dumbbell swing in your repertoire in order to get really strong core. Because once again standing you are obviously going to use your core muscles just to stand erect. But once you create the slide, once you start creating the swinging motion you start noticing your abdominal muscles open up. If you're weak you are really going to feel a really tightness the next day. But if you are an intermediate to a professional at doing this you are going to just notice that your muscles are going to get more inflamed and you'll get more of the six pack or four pack look depending on your definition. And those are the benefits of the dumbbell swing exercise. See you next time.
