Hi, I'm Alfonso "the Angry Trainer" Moretti, and today we are gonna talk about the benefits of morning time exercise. There's three main reasons we want to work out in the morning that are beneficial for us. For one, it increases your cognitive ability. It literally helps your brain wake up faster. Two, if we use workouts that are of the high intensity nature, you're gonna burn calories throughout the whole day, which is always a good thing. And three, let's be honest, when the five o'clock whistle come, you don't have to worry about going to the gym, you've got it done already. So one of the easiest and most manageable exercises you can do in the morning for a morning workout are jumping jacks. Start with your feet together with your hands at your side. As you jump out, bring your hands over your head, touch your hands, come back down to your side again, and just simply repeat. Make sure that you're getting as far a jump out as you can, and bring your feet and hands back together on each rep. My second favorite exercise to do in the morning for a workout are burpies. Yes, burpies. Burpies are a great exercise because you get a lot done in a little bit of time. Simply put your hands down on the ground in squat position, thrust your feet back, lower your feet down to the ground, touch your chest to the ground, reverse the motion, jump to your feet and stand. That's one burpie. My third exercise I love for morning time workouts are butterfly situps. It's a great organic movement, it's great for the lower back if your lower back is a little tight from sleeping all night. Just pull your feet back into the butterfly position, lay back with your hands straight over your head, take a deep breath, breathe out, and do a full situp all the way up. With each rep as you go down try to get your shoulders and your arms to lay flat on the ground behind your head.
