Hi, I'm Marcos Avellan, and we're gonna cover how to train like a UFC fighter. Lots of people want to train like a fighter, and we're gonna cover how to do it. To train like a UFC fighter, you have to be a well rounded martial artist. Not only do you gotta work your boxing and your strikes upstairs, but you're also gonna work your strikes downstairs, punching downwards in the ground. And that being said, the fight has to get to the ground, so you have to learn how to wrestle, and you have to learn your submissions on the floor, how to defend yourself when you're on your back, and how to attack when you're on top. You also have to be a very well conditioned athlete, working all kinds of different muscles groups, and working all kinds of different cardio. You have your long-term cardio, and you have your short-term like sprinting style energy. So, to be a UFC fighter, you definitely have to be a very well rounded athlete.
