Hi, I'm Ingrid, and today we're going to do Yoga postures for kidney and liver health. By squeezing and twisting the organs, we help detox any toxins that lie in there from our everyday activities. Today, we're going to do a lying down twist as well as the cobra pose. To get started, we're going to go ahead and lie on our back, so go ahead and roll all the way down. Once you're there, go ahead and take a deep stretch, tops of the fingers at the top of your mat, deep inhale. And on the exhale, go ahead and hug one knee into your chest, hugging it in nice and tight. On your next exhale, you're going to go ahead and drop the knee over to the opposite side of your body. You're going to open up your arms and most importantly, you're going to untuck that shoulder that is tucked underneath your body, so that both shoulders are on the mat. Good, and on the exhale, you go ahead and come back to center and you can do the other side. For the cobra pose, we're going to bring our hands underneath our shoulders and bring your elbows back, tucking the shoulder blades back and together. Then, we're going to slowly bring our heart up and stay there for as long as you can. You're going to take a couple of deep breaths [Breath]. Great! And on the exhale, go ahead and roll all the way back down.
