Hey, guys, what's going on? I'm Brandon Harris, and today I'm going to demonstrate a great leg lifting exercise for the elderly. This exercise is a sit to stand with the leg march. First we're going to be in a seated position with good posture. We want to make sure that we maintain good posture, chest out, core tight throughout the entire exercise. You're going to sit up, concentrate on driving through your heels, activating your butt, up nice and tall, posture at the top, sit through the heels, arch, march, again, up through the heels, posture up, perfect posture at the top, sit back into the heels, march, march. Again, sitting up, chest out at the top, good posture, sit into the butt, march, march. Perform 15 to 20 repetitions and the next time you find yourself at home sitting in the chair watching TV, give this exercise a try.
