Hey, everybody! I am Chef Mareya, "The Fit Foody." Today, I've got some healthy English muffin toppings for you, and let me tell you, they won't give you the muffin top that you don't want. So, personally, I like to start with a whole grain English muffin -- higher in fiber, less calories and carbs than regular white flour muffins. These are a sprouted grain muffin. And, just a couple of little tricks that I like, two things: One, I love lean turkey breast with just a little bit of Dijon mustard -- no mayo necessary, because I've got a slice or two of avocado, which give you the benefits of good fats without the saturated fat. I also love a little bit of sunflower or almond butter with some slices of really nice crisp apple -- super simple, easy to put together. Kids love it, too. You can also do a little sweet yogurt. I like to sweeten plain, nonfat Greek yogurt with a little bit of Stevia, and some fresh lemon, and a few slices of strawberry. So, you've got three different, really easy snack ideas to top your English muffins. So, you can park the butter, and keep it healthy. Hope you'll try these really easy ideas. Let me know what you like best on your English muffin! I'll see you really soon!
