Hey, everybody! I'm Chef Mareya, "The Fit Foody." And today, I want to talk to you about healthy alternatives to pepperoni pizza. Now, pepperoni is just, it's everywhere! But, it can be full of nitrates, nitrites, and artificial preservatives and colors, so...not to mention a lot of saturated fat. So, there are a lot of other healthier options out there, and you can get really creative with your pizza. I'm going to share with you two of my favorite toppings. One, is artichoke hearts -- they're easy to find in the store, and they're just packed with flavor, and they look gorgeous on your crust. I also love the combination of chicken with pineapple -- that sweet and savory combination is a winner every single time, and the kids love it, too! You can also add olives, broccoli, other types of vegetables, roasted red pepper, even hummus. Just go to town and make it creative, and make it your own!
