Hi, my name is Hedi Alavi, and I'm going to explain how to cycle to improve running. So cycling like running is predominantly a cardiovascular workout. So the most important muscle in your body that you're using for those is your heart. So you're conditioning your heart in both activities. The difference is that cycling, you don't have that pounding impact on your joints that you do have in running. So, you can definitely amp up the resistance, amp up the intensity of your workouts without feeling it in your joints and in your bones. So, I would suggest, when your cycling, to definitely push and do a lot of intervals after you have established your cardiovascular base, and try to get stronger that way, because basically your body can take it. And especially it's not gonna have any impact on your body like running does.
