I'm Greg Mc Lean. I'm here to talk about whether jumping rope can decrease your waistline. One of my favorite tools in the gym is the jump rope. For some people looking to kind of switch up their cardio, do something a little bit different, one thing you can do is jump rope for a minute, take a minute rest, get back on that jump rope again. Slowly but surely you've got to build that way up to doing ten, 15, 20 minutes of jumping rope, one of the best ways to burn the most calories and trim that waistline. For some people looking to kind of challenge their strength training workouts, mix it up a little bit, drive that intensity through the ceiling, one thing you can do is do a set of a bicep curl or a lunge or a crunch. And, rather than sitting around, letting your heart rate drop, grab that jump rope, you know, maybe 50 to 100 jumps or jump for a minute and then go right back into your next set. Also great for keeping that heart rate up the entire workout, burning some calories, is always going to help that waistline.
