The reason for these poses is to tone your deep pelvic muscles and increase circulation which in turn promotes prostate health. Start with your shins with a block right between your feet. Use your thumbs to draw up the calf muscles back toward the heels and slowly set down. If this is starting to feel a little too intense in the thighs and the knees make sure to place a second block. Relax your hands to your thighs and help lift the shoulders and roll the shoulders back. Stay in the pose for about a minute or two. To come out, come to all fours and close your ankles. The next pose is called boat pose. Start on your sitting bones with your knees together, your feet together, inhale, stretch your arms out parallel to the floor and slowly recline back. Keep lifting the chest and stay in the pose for about ten to twenty seconds. To come out, lower the legs and lift the chest.
