I'm Debbie O'Toole. And I'm here to talk to you about how to lose weight through exercise. One of the best ways to lose weight is through exercise and one of the main things is that you need to be consistent. The best way to lose weight through exercise is to be consistent. So, what you want to do is make sure you have a Plan B for going to the gym. And schedule it right into your notebook or into your appointment book. And you want to make sure that you try to schedule a time that's going to work for you. Some people are morning people, some people are night people. So, make sure it fits into the schedule of your work day. So, if you're coming in the morning, make sure you schedule three times during the week to get there. And the more consistent you are with your workouts, the more you're going to see. And that'll compliment your good, healthy eating. So, in order for you to lose weight, you want to make sure you have a good strength training plan. And you want to start out light and work your way into it. So, if you've never done weight training before, you might want to get yourself a personal trainer. So that you can focus on doing the correct movement, so you don't get injured. And that the program is going to work all the major muscles and that is going to help you shed the body fat. And you want to compliment that with some aerobic activity. Including some of the aerobic activity that you can do, you can incorporate running, you can do a class, you can bike, you could run outside, you could walk outside. You can get involved in any activity that's going to get your heart rate up for at least 30 minutes at a time. And you'll be sure to see some great results.
