Hi, I'm Elmore McConnell, Atlanta's top personal trainer. Today, we're gonna talk about sweat loss ratio. The reason that you want to focus on sweat loss ratio is because 90 percent of Americans are not drinking enough water during their workouts. They way to keep in contact with how much sweat that you're losing during your workout is to weight yourself before you start your workout and then weigh yourself afterwards. If you lost 1 pound during that workout replace that with 16 ounces of water afterwards. Another fantastic way to monitor how much water you're losing during your workout is to judge it by your shirt. So if you have a soaking shirt that means you should be sipping water or drinking water every 30 seconds. Doctors recommend that you drink 90 to 86 ounces of water per day. The easiest way to keep track is to keep a water bottle during your workout and that will help you with the sweat loss ratio.
