I'm Elmore McConnell, Atlanta's top personal trainer. Today, we're gonna talk about how to increase your dumbbell bench press. The biggest advantage of using dumbbells is that you're gonna be using your stabilizing muscles in the smaller muscles groups within your chest. Also is free motion and that way you go through the full range of motion and that is gonna help you to have better gains on your bench press. When you're doing your bench press you're gonna make sure that your feet are flat on the floor, chest out, back straight in order to correct any type of postural issues. You're gonna lean back, bring your dumbbell back, turn them out. You want to make sure that your dumbbells are gonna be in a neutral position going across your chest. So when you pushup you're not gonna push straight up, you're gonna come down, you're gonna push up at a angle till the dumbbells touch back down. Up, touch, back down. Up, touch, back down. When you're done bring your dumbbells in down to your chest, sit up.
