Hi. I'm Shaun Zetlin, and I'm here to show you how to improve your hip flexibility using a big stability ball. This ball is about 75 centimeters. You want to choose a ball that's in that size; an 85 centimeter ball will help as well. This is a great exercise that we are about to perform because it's going to open up our hip flexors, so as major and lower back. If you are somebody who sits all day and you have very, very tight hip flexors. If you area runner, if you are somebody who just needs more flexibility and better posture, this stretch is for you. To start, we're going to sit on the stability ball with incredible posture, make sure your torso is upright, your core is engaged and then we're going to position our feet with external rotation. And, all that means is they're going to go out to the sides. This will create more stability so you're able to lean forward. And here's where the stretch gets a little bit more difficult. You're going to lean forward and use your hands for stability. And, we're going to go all the way to the floor as we arch the lower back. The more you come forward, the more those hip flexors get stretched. Take your time. If you're able to go out a little bit farther, then please do so. And then, you want to be cautious about getting back on the ball so we don't fall, so take multiple steps with your hands on the floor to get back up with incredible posture as you started.
