Jeremy Scott here. Today, we're going to talk about how to get big arms doing CrossFit. When talking about getting bigger arms or any muscle group for that matter, two crucial things that everybody has to do is have a calorie surplus. Meaning you have to eat to get bigger. The muscle has to have enough calories, enough fuel to actually grow. The second thing you need to do is put enough stress and time under tension on your muscles to actually elicit enough stress on them to get them to grow. In terms of CrossFit when we're talking about muscle growth and specifically arm growth some of the key exercises you guys are already doing such as your push-ups, your pull-ups and your heavy pressing movements are setting a good foundation for you. One of the key things to do instead of focusing on how many reps and the speed in which you can do, I would focus on the eccentric portion of it. So maybe doing a little bit heavier load but doing a slower repetition pace as opposed to maybe two, three, four, five seconds down per rep. As opposed to just trying to speed through it. That's really going to put enough stress on your muscles to elicit the growth that your guys are looking for.
