Hi, my name is Jennifer Fugo. and today I'm going to talk to you about how to naturally raise your energy level so that you can get through your day without lots of caffeine. I have six very easy tips to naturally upping your energy. First swap out sugary breakfast cereals and energy bars for protein dense meals with a side of veggies to help balance your blood sugar. Cut back on sugar and high glycemic starchy food products and desserts. Third watch your caffeine intake and especially avoid it after three PM since caffeine can stay in your system for up to six hours. Fourth kick the snacks for real foods like veggie sticks, cut up apples and dip them in nut butters, humus or guacamole. Avoid watching TV, surfing the Internet or working on your phone for at least one hour before bed time. So that your body realizes that it's time to wind down for the evening and prepare for bed. And last but least, six, make sure that your room is cool. Your bed and your pillow are supportive and there is a lack of disruptive light that can disturb your sleep.
