Hi, my name is Leif Becker. And today, I'm going to talk with you about how to put together a karate demonstration. When crating a demonstration for your Martial Arts academy, find the group of students you'll be working with. Utilize the strengths that each one of them hold and ultimately you'll create that demonstration you're looking. Your karate demonstration will come from the students in your karate academy. Look around and see who's ready to participate and their training and their development to be out there in a demonstration. Sit each of the students down and find out what their strengths are, is it breaking, is it sparring is it forms, is it self defense. By utilizing their own personal strengths, you can then develop it into a demonstration that will take place utilizing each one of those areas. Some of the students you'll see competing in self defense, others you'll be seeing doing a demonstration in breaking. One will go right after the other, synchronizing a really tight demonstration for an audience that could be younger in age, older in age. That will be the last part, is to ultimately determine what type of demonstration you're looking to accomplish. Is it something that's more formal, is it something that could potentially be informal. Really determining how the demonstration is going to take place, will help you decide if music needs to be involved. Or other types of theatrics that come together to really create a strong demonstration.
