I'm Paj Mohager, and today I'm gonna teach you how to lose weight for boxing. Boxing is a contact sport, but your conditioning is actually what dictates where the fight goes. Alright, so boxing is a contact sport, we all know this, but I'm not sure if everyone knows how much conditioning plays a role in the actual fight. You train for skill and things like that, but your conditioning ultimately is what dictates the outcome of the fight. Now your conditioning is based on your nutrition, on your training methods, on your endurance levels, on your core strength, and of course, you know, on your rest. You know, rest plays a huge role when you're training, especially for a taxing sport like boxing. So you have to be able to train right, condition yourself, and prepare yourself for the actual fight without risking injuries and have lingering injuries, which is where the rest comes into play. Now I'm gonna show you a couple different exercise that's gonna help you with your conditioning and actually keep you safe from injuries. So jump roping is the fundamentals of boxing, of really any kind of contact sport, because it doesn't just teach your endurance and give you balance and things like that, but it actually teaches you footwork, which is very important in any kind of contact sport. Alright, so running will be the second thing I'm gonna recommend. Running is very important. It teaches you endurance, let's you get into a mental state of kind of in your own world. Just like you would be in your fight. And the third thing that I'm going to teach you today is gonna be the dumbbell punch drills. Now the dumbbell punch drills are really to simulate when your arms get tired. Now the more you punch, the more blood you're gonna pump into your arms into your muscles. So over time your arms are gonna feel really heavy, you know? So, in order to get you used to that, so that you don't drop your hands too far where you're gonna get punched right in the face, we're gonna teach you to do that with weights in your hands. Alright, so these are just three of the core exercises that's gonna help you in boxing, but better than that, it's gonna get you in shape for the fight. This is how you lose the weight.
