Hi, my name is Paula Stephens, and today we're gonna be talking about how to develop a running habit. Developing a running habit is one of the best things you can do to increase your stamina, decrease your weight, and improve your overall fitness. Just like any habit, developing a running habit can be done with three simple tips. The first thing that I suggest you do is that you put it on your calendar, just as if it was an appointment with your financial planner, or a doctor's appointment. So, sit down each week and put down the days of the week that you're gonna commit to being a runner. The second thing is after you've completed those runs, I encourage you to journal what you did and write down how long you ran and what it felt like to be a runner that day. And, then, lastly, go ahead and find a buddy or an accountability partner. Find somebody that has similar running goals, as yourself, or it might be somebody who is already a runner that will drag you along and help you develop this really great habit.
