Hi, my name is Cristina Iacob and this is Bikram Yoga and feet cramps. Checking posture, stretching and massaging are good to prevent feet cramps in Bikram Yoga. For the feet cramps when we talk about Bikram Yoga we should start by massaging our feet during the day as many times as we can before yoga practices and definitely stretching. So we're going to start with stretching. We're going to use a yoga strap and we can put it here, wrap it around the ball of your feet and just stretch and you pull towards you and if you can, point your toes towards yourself, that's much better. You'll get a better stretch. Another stretching exercise is kneel down, sit on your heels, your toes are tucked under and you pretty much just lean backwards and that will give you a really good stretch and stay here for ten seconds, 20 if you can. Lastly I'm going to show you how to massage your feet to prevent feet cramps. We're going to take a tennis ball, normal tennis ball, put it on the ground and just put your foot on top of it and start rolling using your body weight, front and back and then circles and this should be done daily and as much as possible because we do get feet cramps just by walking.
