I'm Ryan George and this is personal trainer assisted exercises. There are many benefits to having a personal trainer but one of the most important is to have somebody there to observe your techniques. Some exercises even the simplest ones require some very specific technique and then you have more advanced exercises that really require somebody to watch you. So one of the foundations of any exercise program should be having proper technique. As beneficial as exercise is, it can be just as harmful if things aren't done properly and that's where having a good trainer comes in handy. Something as simple as a push-up or a squat or a lunge, things that we've been doing all of our lives can easily be done improperly and can easily be done unsafe. So having a trainer to watch and observe really helps. They can correct little things and then they can make things harder. So if you've mastered an exercise, a trainer can then give you something more advanced. Alternatively if you find let's say that you've injured your knee and you need some kind of modification on a squat, they can also give your aggressions and show you things that you can do to work with any kind of an injury that you may have. In addition to the motivation and the program design, having a trainer to observe your technique and make corrections or progressions is a great thing to have.
