I'm Ryan George, and this is tips for a flatter stomach. So, developing lean, toned abs is really a simple and straightforward process that can be achieved by just following a few simple steps. The first step is actually working on the abs. So, when you're doing that, you can do things like crunches and planks with any of the exercise. You want to really make sure that you have proper technique. Especially with the plank, the back is straight, that you're flat on the floor. With the crunches, that you're not over arching your back at the end, you're not sitting all the way up. So, some simple, technical things. But those are the exercises, the kinds of exercises that you want to do. The second step is making sure that you focus on a nice, clean and healthy diet. If you're not eating well, then you'll have a layer of fat over your nicely developed stomach. The third step is to make sure to do some kind of cardiovascular activity. So, running, biking, jogging, power walking, elliptical, whatever it is. Some form of aerobic activity will be great because it helps you to burn more fat. So, the fourth step is doing some form of resistance training. Even if you want to lose weight, resistance training is really important because it helps you build muscle, which in turn helps you lose body fat. Which is in turn going to help you look more lean.
