I'm nutritionist, Siona Sammartino, and this is how to boil an egg with a creamy yolk. Eggs are one of my favorite meal ideas for lunch, breakfast, dinner or even a snack. They're so convenient. They are also high in protein which helps to keep you full for longer. The whites in particular, have all of the protein whereas the yolks contain the vitamins so B vitamins, Biotin, carotenoids, those are all in those precious yolks. So don't get rid of the yolks. If you are looking for a recipe that's going to help to make that delicious creamy center, soft cooking your eggs is absolutely the way to go. So here's how I do it. Begin by placing an organic pasture raised egg in a small saucepan. Place just enough water in the pan to cover the egg. Place on the stove, turn your heat to high and then you want to bring this to a full rolling boil. Once the water boils, turn the heat off, cover your pot and allow the egg to stand for four to five minutes depending on how runny you like your center. The whites should be congealed and no longer translucent and the yolks should be still soft and runny. You can cut the top off of the egg with a spoon or a knife and then dig right into its creamy goodness. And that's how to boil an egg with a creamy yolk.
