Hi, my name is Charmene Vega, and I'm here to talk about the health benefits of ketchup. Most people will say ketchup is not good for you because it has the added sugar. Well, there are some that are better for you. In comparison, you don't have to have any of those that have the high fructose corn syrup. If you go with a more organic ketchup, then what you're gonna have one is gonna be deeper and redder in color, and it's going to have an organic sugar, but it's gonna be a lower on the glycemic index for you. You're gonna have lycopene is gonna be released more, which is also going to help with anti-inflammatory, it's gonna help with your antioxidants, it's gonna help with memory, it's gonna help with your immune system, there are all these other benefits that outweigh the little bit of sugar that's in it. Tomatoes naturally have sugar in them, and often times they add a little bit more sugar to it just for the person's pallet or to help them with that. However, if you're still concerned about the little bit of sugar that would be added in it, then what you can do is just put a dash of cinnamon in there and that will drop it down a little bit more for you. So, by all means, still eat the ketchup because of all the benefits that you can enjoy and get from it along with the taste. And as Mama Vega always says, chew on this.
