Hi, my name is Charmene Vega, and I'm here to tell you how you can get 18 milligrams of iron in your diet daily. One of the things that people don't realize is that you need iron in your body for your muscles, for your brain to function and all kinds of other things, just for you to operate, just for you to go. For the neurons, and your brain to operate. One of the things that you can add to your diet, or the first thing that you may want to look at is sesame seeds. Sesame seeds are very tiny, but they're 82 percent would be considered iron. So 82 percent of a sesame seed is actually iron. One of the other things, or the next thing you want to look at would be raisins. Raisins is one of those sweet little things, but instead of them just being sugar and sweet, they also are packed with a lot of iron. You could add those to your food. Something else that you could add would be molasses. Not everybody eats molasses, but that's very good, you could add that to your tea or anything along those line. One of the other ones you can add would be pumpkin seeds. Pumpkin seeds are very good as well. Apricots are another thing that's good. So if you look at some of these things that I've listed, it would be fruits and nuts, but the dry fruits are the ones that seem to have the most powerhouse of iron that's in the, and the nuts that you have would be the sesame seed, raisins and things like that. These are the type of things you want to have daily, and you can just have them throughout the day, and you'd be able to get your 18 milligrams very easy. It's not gonna be that hard. As Mama Vega says, chew on this.
