This is Angelique Millis at Life Gym and today, we're going to talk about how to maintain your motivation. So, I have three really important tips that I share with my clients on maintaining motivation for fitness. The number one thing is knowing that this is a personal choice for you, so you're going to have to make a plan for that, take a plan of action. For instance create the time that you're going to start working out, whether you're going to go to the gym, you're going to go to a class, whatever you're planning to do, put it on paper. So, plan it out. Number two is surround yourself with really positive people that are going to be supportive of your goals. Maybe you want to find a gym partner, maybe you just want to surround yourself with people that are going to be supportive of your diet habits and in fact that you're making a healthier lifestyle for yourself. And it might actually help motivate them as well. And the third thing I would recommend to maintain your motivation is to keep track and keep progress of your goals and of your progress through training, through food journaling and through writing everything down and you'll also be able to look back in your progress later down the line and see how far you've come. So, you got to keep yourself motivated; you are your number one cheerleader and that's really what it all comes down to.
