Hi, this is Jamie Glick. I'm here to talk about how to get abs after losing 100 pounds. Congratulations you've lost a 100 pounds. Most of the hard work is done. I'm going to show you ways to tone and tighten those abs. In order for you to get abs after losing all that weight you need to do some cardiovascular work. But you also need to do some muscle building. So when you shed all that extra fat off the abdomen the muscles can show. So you are going to need a combination of exercises. First the cardiovascular workout. Usually you can do 30 minutes three to five times a day on your choice of equipment. This can be done on a bike, treadmill or elliptical machine. Or simply going out for a walk or jog. The second type of exercise you'll need to do is build muscle in the abdomen. This is best accomplished by a combination of crunches and planks. Crunches are started on your back. You can do up to two sets of 10. Planks are a stabilizing exercise. These you are going to lay on your stomach. And come on up. And you are going to hold this plank position for 10 seconds, 30 seconds or even up to 60 seconds. And repeat two times.
