I'm Tanya Eberhardt. And this is gentle Yoga sequence and the knee. The knee tends to be a tender spot for some people, especially when doing Yoga poses on the floor. But you can place a prop in between your knee and the floor to support your knee cap. Gentle Yoga poses are therapeutic and can help you restore your body back to balance and health. Grab a blanket and fold it in half or into a quarter. And place it on your mat. Place your knees on the blanket. This will give you a cushion in between the hard floor and your knee cap. Come into a child's position, knees as wide as your mat, toes touching. Butt on your heels, lower your chest towards the floor. Extend your arms out in front of you, and bring your forehead to the mat. Inhale, come forward and bring your entire body extended onto the floor. Move your hands back, so that the tops of your fingers are at the base of your rig cage. Inhale to extend the spine, lifting the crown of the head, lifting your chest, squeezing your shoulders back, shoulder blades together. Exhale, lower to the mat. Inhale. Inhale deeply and exhale, return to a child's pose. Do three rounds of that sequence.
