Hi, I'm Jake Taylor, professional long driver and trick shot artists. Now we're out here discussing the proper release for a golf swing. Now you'll hear different things such as rolling through or pushing through of the hands. Now this can be determined by two things, your body position and also your posture. Now as long as you keep your posture through the golf swing, your hands will roll through naturally. I like to use a drill that helps people roll their hands through while maintaining their body position through a natural movement. Now when you were little, and you didn't have anything to do, what did you do. You stood around and you swung with your arms. Now with that movement, all we're gonna do is put a golf club in your hands, and that natural movement of the body is just being adjusted to a swing plane. Now if you suffer from a snap hook, that could be because you're rolling your hands through too early and concentrating too much on it, and not allowing your body to do the movement. Concentrate on relaxing those hands and allowing them to roll through naturally. This will be the proper release for that golf swing that's gonna help you out there on the course.
