Hello my name is Dr. Julia Tatum Hunter from Holistic Dermatology. We're here to talk about healthy eating fats and stats regarding self perception. Self perception is basically about feeling good and looking good and how you eat is an imperative part of that. You are what you eat and most importantly digest and so how do you eat? Number one is I'm a big believer in eat right for your blood type as a good guide on how to eat to feel better, help you lose weight, to help keep you from having the gas, the bloating, the constipation that so many people suffer from. So what do you eat? First of all, green, green, green, green, the more green the better, healthy protein. You don't have to eat animal protein but you need a lot of protein to feed your muscles. And also that ups your metabolic rates and so that helps you lose weight and not gain weight, more importantly. The other thing is avoid gluten as much as possible. The less carbs you eat the better. The other thing is that you want to exercise, really important. So self perception is about feeling good and how you feel is number one impacted by your digestive system. So if you are eating what your body wants, which makes you healthier which makes you feel good. If you are avoiding the things that are bad for you that make you tired, that make you sleepy, that make you crave food and then the other thing is why are a lot of people hungry all the time? It's because their adrenal glands sit on top of their kidneys are depleted because we live in such a stressful world. So that's rest, that's learning to handle stress and that's replenishing the adrenals with some supplementation. So self perception is about feeling good, comes from eating and then exercising correctly.
