Hi, I'm Jennifer Edward, and I'm here at WMB Miami Training Center, and this is what is low density. Let me define low density first. Low density is a higher volume of food with fewer calories. So, if say you were gonna go and you were gonna be training martial arts. You wouldn't want to have a low calorie, you would not want to have a low density meal beforehand, if you're gonna be training hard. If you're gonna be training hard you would prefer to have a, it would be a better idea to have a much higher density such as oatmeal, pasta, something that's gonna give you a lot of carbs to burn during your high intensity workout. Low intensity is say you're gonna be doing just a light workout, nothing real intense, then a low density meal beforehand would be much better. Something like a salad, something spinach or kale, and you can have a lot more of it if you're hungry and not worry about burning all those calories. These are some examples of a low density compared to a high density.
