We're here at a local skate park and I'm going to tell you a little bit of some features of a skate park. As you can see in the background we have a street area it includes a medal rail, medal edge curb, ledges to drop off of, small quarter pipe ramps and plenty of stuff to grind and slide. This skate park also has the feature of a snake run with a bolt section and a pool like bowl for skating bowl. Some skate parks are publicly owned and most have rules and regulations that must be followed in order to keep from breaking town ordinances. Other skate parks are privately owned and usually charge a fee and require to sign a insurance waver. The important thing to do is research the type of skate park you want to go to see, what you can afford and see what you are ready to sign. Another important part of skating a skate park is skate park etiquette. When another person is doing a trick, it's important to stand out of the way and wait your turn. Most skaters usually give each other a hand or eye signal to let then know that they are about to proceed with a trick. The fun of a skate park is that it's a hassle free and a legal way to enjoy this sport of skateboarding. Some of the problems of skate park are that you are limited in your space and it often gets crowed as you can see today. However if you stay safe, follow the rules, be courteous of other skaters you have a lot of fun at a place like this.
