Another way to challenge your balance in the tree pose is to add trust with your partner where you really need to connect with your partner for that give and take that is necessary for that pose. We're going to start just a little bit more away from each other and then come in to our tree pose. We're going to place our hands on the outside of our partner's shoulder and then we're going to take our knee and lift it up, bend it, and take it over to the side, pivoting on the ball of the foot. Now you can stand right here for tree or you can bring your foot to your calm or possibly all the way up. Whatever works for you, find your tree. Put your arm out and press your foot tight down to the earth and lengthen up through the crown of the head, good. And focus on something that is not moving. Good. Now we're just going to try to slide our arms down just a little bit. Give and take, give and take, reaching out to the side, good and coming in to our trust part of the pose and just letting your head fall over to the side into the willow tree, then pulling your elbows in to come out of the pose and that's the tree with a trust issue.
