Dr. Craven grew up in the Austin, Texas area and attended the University of Texas at Austin. He graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor's Degree in Biology in only 3 years and received the College of Natural Sciences Distinguished Graduate Award. Dr. Cameron Craven completed a 6 year integrated residency in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston. He has received numerous awards and honors for academic achievement and has given presentations at local and national meetings regarding his research projects and scientific publications. He is a member of the American Medical Association, the Travis County Medical Society, Texas Medical Association and the Michael E. DeBakey International Surgical Society and he is an Associate Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.
