About this Author

Craig Kovitz, M.D. received his medical degree from Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York. His fellowship was in medical oncology and hematology at M.D. Anderson Cancer Center. He is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine, and is a Fellow of the American College of Physicians. He has participated in research studies about pre-leukemic blood disorders and leukemia in addition to bone-marrow transplantation.
