DR. GREGORY NIKOLAIDIS: Hi, I'm Dr. Gregory Nikolaidis with Westlake Dermatology and Cosmetic Surgery here to discuss an overview on non-invasive cosmetic procedures. The most common non-invasive cosmetic procedure is Botox. Botox works by relaxing the muscles around the eyes, reduce appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. Second most common non-invasive procedure are the use of dermal fillers such as collagen or hyaluronic acids like Restylane or Juvederm to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. These are typically used on the lower part of the face, around the mouth, to restore volume in these areas. Finally, the use of skin tightening devices like the Thermage using radio frequency device or the Titan which is a light device to tighten the skin are also very popular.
