JIMMY GOETHALS: Now, we are going to talk about bunting. Our demo man, Maysonet, here is going to show us how to bunt correctly. First, we want to grab the bat the right way. If he grabs the bat like this, he is going to break his fingers. Edwin is in a good spot. He is going to keep his fingers right behind. He moved his hands from down there all the way down to the barrel to have more bat control and also so it deadens the ball when he bunts the ball. You do not want to hit it too hard back because then it defeats the purpose and they will probably get that lead runner out. Now, he is going to get his legs into a good stance. As you can see, he did not move his hands or arms. He moved his legs. So if that pitch is down, watch what he does. He did not move his arms. All he did was move his legs up and down.
