JIMMY GOETHALS: Obviously, we need to work on a little bit of outfielding as well. A couple of things you saw Edwin do, cut the ball down here. When you're catching a fly ball, you want to catch the ball at the highest point possible. You want to catch with two hands, same thing like we did and talked about with infielding. We want to kind of alligator that ball in there, secure it in there with that other hand. That's why we always want to use two hands when catching or fielding a ball. What we want to do we want to make sure that we're behind the baseball. When you're in the outfield and a fly ball is hit, your first reaction is kind of almost to step back. So you're always behind the baseball. You want to be coming in towards the ball. If you're standing here and you're still going back on that ball, if there's a runner on base and you have to throw him out in the infield, you don't have any momentum. You're going to be falling back and still trying to throw back here. You want to get rid of that ball as soon as possible. They are about 120-something feet away. You got to throw that ball a long ways. So you want to catch the ball and get rid of it with as much momentum behind it as possible. So you want to get behind the ball, come, catch it at its highest point, crow hop and straight into the throw. Right here, Edwin is going to show you. Edwin is in a good position. His first reaction is back and then he catches it at the highest point and comes through the baseball to gain that momentum to throw the baseball in. He drops back, gets behind it and comes through the baseball. Well done.
